Surveys and research

Survey triggers

Send a survey by itself after a conversation, when your system reports an event, on a schedule, or when a customer seems about to leave.

Help centreUpdated on

A trigger sends an approved survey when something happens, so you hear from customers while it’s fresh. Go to Texa AI → Research → Triggers and choose New trigger. Approve a survey first, because a trigger can only send an approved one.

When

  • After a conversation is resolved: choose the Inboxes (numbers) and the Wait (minutes) before sending.
  • When your system sends an event: such as a purchase or a delivery. Enter the Event name your system sends as its type.
  • On a schedule, to a segment: Every (days), to a Segment, with People each time.
  • On a churn signal: A low rating (choose Rating at most), or A monitor finding (choose the Monitor).

How and how often

  • Send by: WhatsApp (choose the WhatsApp inbox and an Approved template), SMS with a link or Email with a link.
  • Share of those who qualify (%): send to only part of them.
  • Not again within (days): so nobody is asked too often.

Choose Add trigger.

Events from your system

For event triggers, your system tells Texa when something happens. Under Events from your system, make a secret and give it to your developer, with the address shown. Copy it straight away, because it isn’t shown again. Making a new secret stops the old one.

More in Surveys and research

  • Surveys Ask customers what they think on WhatsApp, by link or on your website, with follow-up questions, and read the results with their own words.
  • Studies and AI interviews Find out why customers do what they do, with interviews Texa AI runs by voice or text, and reports where every finding quotes what people said.
  • Audiences and consent Make segments of customers to ask, from what they did, and keep the list of people who asked not to be contacted.
