Each channel you connect becomes an inbox in Texa Desk. Conversations from every inbox appear together in Conversations, and you can filter by inbox whenever you need to.
Add an inbox
- Go to Settings → Inboxes.
- Choose Add inbox.
- Pick the channel and follow its steps.
- Choose who answers it under Collaborators.
If you’ve turned on Texa AI, it answers in each new inbox straight away. You can change that for any inbox in Texa AI → Agent and inboxes. See Choose how Texa AI works in each inbox.

Name your inboxes after your business
The inbox’s name is what customers see as the sender on email and in some apps. An email reply goes out as “Texa AI from” followed by the inbox’s name, so “Ada Foods” reads better than “Support email”.
