Texa Desk works on one prepaid balance, like topping up airtime. You buy credits, and everything Texa AI does uses a few of them, whether in Texa Desk or through the API.
One credit is ₦1. There’s no plan to choose and no contract.
What you start with
Every new company gets 5,000 free credits, enough to try Texa AI on real conversations: about 200 replies.
What uses credits
Texa AI’s work: its replies, conversations it resolves, drafts for your team, actions in your systems, reading voice notes and photos, calls, campaign messages, surveys and questions to Ask Texa AI. Each person in Texa Desk after the first also uses credits each day. See What things cost.
Free: messages from customers, your team’s own replies, hand-overs, conversations themselves, API requests, and WhatsApp templates (Meta bills those to your own WhatsApp account).
When it runs low
You get a warning when your balance falls to 20% and to 5% of your last top-up, and again at zero. Warnings go by email to your administrators and to any billing emails you add, and a banner shows on every Texa AI page.
When it runs out
Texa AI pauses. Your team gets every conversation and answers customers as usual, so nobody is left without a reply. The API answers with an error saying the balance is empty. Texa AI starts again by itself as soon as a top-up is paid.
When credits expire
Credits expire 12 months after you last added credits. Any top-up keeps your whole balance alive, so an active company never loses credits. You’re told 30 days before.
If you run a group of companies
Your companies can share one balance. On Balance and top-up, see Shared with your group’s companies. See Groups of companies.
See your balance
Go to Texa AI → Usage and billing. Balance and top-up shows your balance, what you used a day lately, how much of your last top-up is left, and when credits expire. To add credits, see Top up your balance.
