Groups of companies

Run several companies from one group, with people who work in all of them, while each keeps its own Texa Desk, Texa AI and verification.

Help centreUpdated on

A group is one business running several companies that must stay apart, such as a holding with a bank and an insurer. Each company keeps its own Texa Desk, Texa AI, data and verification. The group’s people work in all of them.

Groups are for verified limited companies.

Make a group

  1. In the company that will lead the group, go to Settings → Account settings, and under As the company grows, choose Run several companies.
  2. In Settings → Group, the Owner chooses Make a group and gives it a Group name, such as “Ada Holdings”.

Add companies

Under Companies in your group:

  • A new company: type its name and choose Add company. A new company is verified on its own papers before Texa AI opens there.
  • Add a company you own: pick one of your other companies.

To take a company out, open the ⋯ menu beside it and choose Take out. It keeps its own people and data.

The group’s people

Under The group’s people, add someone by their email. They need a Texa Desk sign-in. Give them a group role: Owner, Administrator, Billing or Viewer. They get that role in every company of the group, and each company’s own people keep theirs.

Switching between companies

Everyone in a group sees its companies together in the account switcher, on the web and in the app.

Credits

Each company can have its own balance, or the companies can share one. See Shared with your group’s companies on Texa AI → Usage and billing.
