Branches and locations

Give each shop, office or branch its own people, inboxes, teams and opening hours, group them in regions, and report on each one.

Help centreUpdated on

A branch is part of your company: one Texa AI, one balance and one set of knowledge, with its own people, channels, teams, address and hours. A company with one location never needs branches.

Turn branches on

Go to Settings → Account settings. Under As the company grows, choose Add a branch. Settings → Branches then appears.

Add a branch

  1. Go to Settings → Branches and choose Add branch.
  2. Enter its Name and a Short code, and choose whether It is a branch, a location or a region.
  3. Choose its Region, if you group branches.
  4. Add its Address, City or town, State, Phone and Email.
  5. Set its Opening hours for each day, or Closed.
  6. Under Who and what belongs here, choose its People, Inboxes and Teams. An inbox or a team belongs to one branch.
  7. Choose Save branch.

Regions

Put branches in a region. Someone who belongs to a region sees every branch in it, so a regional manager sees all their branches.

Who sees a branch’s conversations

People see a branch’s conversations when their role includes their branches’ conversations, as a Supervisor’s does. A conversation’s branch comes from its inbox, or else from its team.

In a shared inbox

If every branch shares one WhatsApp number, conversations reach the right branch through Texa AI’s hand-over routes, an automation rule, or a person assigning the branch’s team.

Tell customers where you are

Texa AI can tell customers your branches’ addresses and hours, from a document you approve in Texa AI → Knowledge.

Reports

Reports → Branches shows each branch’s figures, and conversations and reports can be filtered by branch.
